Monroe Board to Discuss 138-unit Bald Hill Plans
In the briefs section of the Times Herald Record on May 2, 2008, page 13, John Sullivan wrote a short paragraph stating that the Town and Village Planning Boards will hold a meeting 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Monroe Senior Center on Mine Road to discuss the Bald Hill Estates development. The town house project could add as many as 138 units on 40 acres. They plan to donate 3 lots to the town for commercial use and the developer says he will give as much as $700,000.00 to the town for park fees.
