Blast Burns Worker at Woodbury Junction Construction Site

A small article in the Times Herald Record on Friday May 30, 2008 page 18, reported that a construction worker was seriously burned a little before 3:30 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2008.

It was reported that he was trying to light a hot water heater somewhere on the construction site at the WP-3 project on Dunderberg Road in Woodbury across from the Monroe-Woodbury High School and somehow gas from the hot water heater ignited the explosion..

This construction site is also known as the Woodbury Junction Development, and is located in Central Valley, NY. The unidentified man suffered burns to his face, hands and body and was flown to a trauma center by helicopter.
